About Velocity Nexus
The story behind the premium server selector
📖 Project Story
Velocity Nexus was created to bring modern, beautiful GUI server selectors to Velocity proxy networks. Traditional text-based server lists felt outdated, and we wanted something that matched the premium experience players expect.
The challenge was unique: Velocity runs on the proxy layer without GUI capabilities, while Spigot/Paper servers have the inventory system. We solved this with a clever two-plugin architecture using plugin messaging to seamlessly connect the proxy's logic with the backend's rendering.
The result is a server selector that feels native to Minecraft, with beautiful gradient colors, real-time player counts, and effortless customization.
